FUNDING OPTIONS (VA GI Bill)

Some important VA information/telephone numbers:

GI Bill: toll-free 1-888-442-4551. These folks can verify your eligibility and remaining months of stipend still in your account.

GI Bill Monthly Enrollment/Stipend Verification: toll-free 1-877-823-2378. (Once registered, please call this number once per month, or use the WAVE link provided above.).

UCCS VA Assistance Office: 1-719-255-3253. These folks can provide assistance with any certification questions as they relate to your enrollment at UCCS. See below links for benefits information:

• MGIB Chapter 30 and Chapter 34
• VA Voc ReHab

If eligible for the MGIB, follow the below instructions:
Fax the following to UCCS VA Office (Fax: 1-719-255-3108):

• Copy of DD Form 214
• UCCS VA Course Load Worksheet (signed & dated)
• ONE of the following VA Forms:
• VA Form 22-1990 (1st-time MGIB recipients)
• VA Form 22-1995 (If you ever previously submitted a 22-1990)

Fax the following to UCCS VA Office (Fax: 1-719-255-3108):

• UCCS VA Course Load Worksheet (signed & dated)

1. All Registrants using VA Benefits have to declare their academic major/education plan prior to being allowed to enroll for a third semester. Those without a academic major/degree plan will not be eligible for continued VA GI Bill Benefits under current VA Policies. Talk to your RTG Mentor.
2. Verify that UCCS received your fax by calling 1-719-255-3253. After verifying UCCS received your faxed MGIB documents, mail original signed VA Form & a copy of DD 214 to the below address (mailing to this address typically reduces processing time over other regional VA offices). (Do not send your original DD 214!).

Fax the following to UCCS Extended Studies (Fax: 1.719.255.3915) AND UCCS VA Office (Fax: 1-719-255-3116):
print the appropriate form below. All applicants must submit a copy of their DD Form 214 and the UCCS VA Course Load Worksheet. First-time GI Bill users must submit a signed VA Form 22-1990. All others provide a signed copy of the VA Form 22-1995.

FAX your MGIB documents (VA Form 22-1990 or 22-1995, UCCS VA Courseload Worksheet, and DD 214) to the UCCS Extended Studies Office:  FAX Number 1-719-255-3915, and the UCCS VA Office: 1-719-255-3116. You can verify its receipt by calling: 1-719-255-4134.
